Hill AFB FamCamp

Hi!

So back in Utah!  Terry has to be here for a short time job so we opted for Hill, which is close to the company he’s working for.  We’ve been here a number of times but there are a few changes and a some more pictures so here’s our review…

Pros:

Clean, smaller size RV park.
Nice dog run
Clubhouse
Water Park!  Actually, just water fountains but it help to cool off on the hot days.
Across street from fantastic fitness center
Next to running track
Next to nice park with pavillion
Inexpensive space rent
You can sit in the library and use their wifi which is really good, except that you
may get blocked from certain sites, even if they are not bad sites.

Cons:

LOTS of bullhead sticker patches, everywhere!
Wifi is pathetic and can only be accessed in the clubhouse.
Trying to get someone to talk to for reservations can be frustrating
Nice commisary, exchange and gas stations
Using your Military Star card gets you a .05 cent discount on fuel (includes diesel)

I couldn’t take not having wifi so after a week we moved to Cherry Hill RV and Fun Park in Kaysville but that will be my next post :0)

It’s been in the 90’s here, can’t wait to head up to Idaho!  Hopefully we’ll see you on the road!
